Full Disclaimer

This disclaimer is all encompassing and covers every single page of this website, the Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide, the Coast Guard Boot Camp custom fitness success programs, all social media posts on all platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc), and any other written, audio-visual, or other materials.

GENERAL: First and foremost, as it says on the bottom of every page on this website – this is an UNOFFICIAL site and is NOT AFFILIATED with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) or the United States Government (USG) in any capacity. The USCG and the USG do not approve, endorse, sponsor, co-sign (or any other similar word you can think of) anything that’s on this website. The same goes for anything that’s found on the pages of the Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide and the Coast Guard Boot Camp custom fitness success programs. I, the owner of this website, disclaim any liability for any accidental inclusion of something that is, or might be, in violation of USCG or USG rules and regulations. I have done my best to design this website and its associated content to be within the legal boundaries of the USCG and the USG. If for some reason I have overlooked something and have included something outside the legal parameters of what the USCG and USG allow for unofficial, 3rd party websites (and content) about the USCG, I sincerely apologize. I humbly request that if that is the case, that someone who handles legal matters for the USCG contact me and notify me of the infraction and I will gladly change it so that I am in compliance. If need be, I also have no problem removing anything that is not in compliance.

Please note that much of what’s on this website and in the aforementioned publications is based on personal experience. Although I have made every reasonable attempt to achieve complete accuracy of the content on the website and in the publications, I assume no responsibility for errors or omissions. Also, you should use this information as you see fit, and at your own risk. I assume zero liability for anything that may or may not happen to you or anyone else, whether directly or indirectly, as a result of following anything found on this website, in the Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide and in the Coast Guard Boot Camp custom fitness success programs. This zero liability is in effect regardless of time, place, and who you are.

PERFORMANCE: I do not guarantee that you will graduate from Coast Guard Boot Camp. I also do not guarantee that you won’t get put on any kind of disciplinary status or that you won’t get reverted during training. Your Coast Guard Boot Camp performance is completely up to you. In addition, your Coast Guard Boot Camp experience will not be exactly like mine. In fact, even two recruits who start at the same exact time will have a different experience. You may need to (and you should) adjust your use of this information and recommendations accordingly.

EXERCISE: There are pages on this website that talk about exercise and the physical preparation aspect of getting ready for Coast Guard Boot Camp. While I was at one time a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and am currently a Certified Progressive Calisthenics Instructor through Dragon Door, I am NOT your personal trainer. Nothing I write on the pages of this website, or in the Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide and the Coast Guard Boot Camp custom fitness success programs that relates to exercise, should be taken as a prescription for physical activity.

When I meet clients in real life for the first time, I take them through a very thorough and rigorous assessment that includes taking their measurements, blood pressure, body fat percentage and BMI. I also inquire about their health, medical and injury history. I then test their flexibility, balance, and upper/lower body strength. I do this so that I can design an appropriate workout program for them. Again, you as the reader of my website or any of its associated content, are NOT my client. What I write about exercise is for informational purposes only. It is not meant to be put to use by everyone.

Physical preparation for Coast Guard Boot Camp can be strenuous. You should consult a physician before you begin any exercise program, including the Coast Guard Boot Camp custom fitness success program, especially if you have or suspect that you may have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or any other adverse medical conditions. If you feel faint or dizzy at any time while attempting to perform anything that’s written on this website or in the Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide and in the Coast Guard Boot Camp custom fitness success program – or exercising in general – stop immediately and seek medical evaluation. The owner of this website disclaims any liability, personal or professional, resulting from the misapplication of any exercise procedure, technique, or guidance described on this website or in the Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide and the Coast Guard Boot Camp custom fitness success programs.

NUTRITION: Any comments or remarks that I make on diet, nutrition, or dietary supplements – whether on this website or in the Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide and in the Coast Guard Boot Camp custom fitness success programs – should NOT be taken as advice. First of all, I am not a nutrionist. Second of all, I don’t know you and am unfamiliar with your medical history or your diet. I don’t know if you have any food allergies. In short, I know nothing about you. When I talk about diet and nutrition, I am speaking from my experience and for informational purposes only. You can use the information as you see fit and at your own risk. Also, what you commonly see on the back of supplement bottles also applies here: Nothing I say is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Any statements I make concerning diet, nutrition, or dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. The information provided on this site and in the Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide and the Coast Guard Boot Camp custom fitness success programs, is not intended as a substitute for advice from your physician or other health care professional. Please consult with a health care professional before making any modifications to your diet or supplementation program.

ADVERTISEMENTS: I am required to disclose (I would disclose it even if I wasn’t required to) that when you click on certain advertisements on this website and purchase any of the products advertised, that I receive a small (more like teensy-tiny) commission.

OTHER: Any trademarks, service marks, product names, logos, etc are assumed to be the property of their respective owners, and are used only for reference. There is no implied endorsement if I use one of these terms.

Finally, use your brain. Nothing on this website or in the Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide and the Coast Guard Boot Camp custom fitness success programs is intended to replace common sense, legal, medical or other professional advice, and is meant to inform and entertain the reader. So enjoy the website and have fun with the Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide and the Coast Guard Boot Camp custom fitness success program.
