"FIRE, FIRE, FIRE!!!"

THIS WILL BE YOUR

ALARM CLOCK FOR 08 WEEKS

THIS WILL BE

YOUR ALARM CLOCK

FOR 08 WEEKS

Almost every single day of your 8 week stay at Cape May will begin with one of your Company Commanders storming your squad bay (the room where you and your company sleep) and yelling "FIRE, FIRE, FIRE!!!" at 0530 (5:30am). You will have about 15 seconds to get out of your rack (bed), put on your go-fasters (sneakers), and head for the exit. Once you get outside you will be told to "find a piece of real estate", which is Cape May slang for securing a piece of concrete wide enough for you to exercise without bumping into one of your shipmates. Your Company Commander will then lead you through a workout.

Aside from the daily morning workouts, some of your shipmates (and sometimes your entire company) will also participate in incentive training. The idea behind incentive training is to give you "incentive" to be a better recruit so that you don't have to suffer through the physical punishment performed during the incentive training.

This is where mental preparation comes into play. The less prepared you are mentally, the more you will suffer physically. I cover the mental preparation aspect on the mental preparation page, but the idea is that no matter what, you will be doing LOTS of physical exercise at Coast Guard Boot Camp.

This means that you HAVE TO PREPARE YOURSELF. The best way to do this is by reading all the FREE articles I've written for you, purchasing the Coast Guard Boot Camp Survival Guide, and implementing the customized 8-week fitness success program for your fitness level. I'm offering it as a FREE bonus for a limited time.

They are designed so that anyone, regardless of their current physical fitness level, will be able to benefit from them. I not only went through Coast Guard Boot Camp myself, but I was also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer in addition to being a Certified Progressive Calisthenics Instructor through Dragon Door. Coast Guard Boot Camp is no cake walk, so start getting ready NOW.
